Accident with entrapment in the 2700

At 0825 the Cochranville Fire Company along with an engine from Station 8, Medic 94, and Lancaster County Amb. 46 were dispatched to Route 10 North of Route 41 for an accident involving entrapment.
Units responded and were advised that the West Fallowfield Township Police Department was on-scene confirming entrapment and requested Fire and EMS units to expedite.
Eng. 27-1 arrived at 0833 and advised of a single vehicle accident involving a utility pole with heavy entrapment of the operator. Fire police units were requested to close the road.
Rescue 21 was dispatched to cover Station 8 along with Ambulance 21-3 to cover Lanco. Amb. 46.
The engine crew cribbed the vehicle, pulled a protection line, and began extrication of the trapped operator.
Rescue 27 arrived and the crew assisted with extrication.
The operator was extricated from the vehicle and in the care of EMS in 11 minutes from the time E-1 arrived on-scene.
27 crews wrapped up and remained on-scene while Null's Towing removed the vehicle.
27 units were available at 0903.
