"The Keystone Valley Fire Department is sad to announce the sudden passing of Engineer Gary Sensenig. Gary was a Life Member of Atglen Fire Company, where he served as the Chief Engineer, President, and Treasurer. He was also a Life Member of the Cochranville Fire Company. At the Keystone Valley Fire Department, Gary served as one of our Engineers helping to keep a fleet of 12 vehicles “response ready.” He was an integral part of KVFD and will be sorely missed. The Wilde Funeral Home reported the following: Gary Lee Sensenig, 53, of Cochranville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Karen L. Sensenig, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, Gary was the son of the late Dorothy A. (Graybeal) and Harry K. Sensenig. He was a 1979 graduate of the Lancaster Mennonite High School and was self-employed as a Carpenter for 20 years. Gary was a member of the Cochranville United Methodist Church, where he served as Trustee. He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his son, David Boozer, his son’s wife, Shannon; and two grandchildren, Jonathon and Isabella Boozer all of Bowmansville; his siblings, Harry A. Sensenig, husband of Jodi Ann, of Kirkwood and Marie Brenner, wife of John, of Lititz. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 4, at 11:00 AM at the Parkesburg United Methodist, 411 Main St, Parkesburg, PA 19365 followed by interment in the Glen Run Cemetery of Atglen. The viewing will be held on both Thursday evening from 5 until 8 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, and again on Friday morning at the Church from 10 until 11 AM."
