Building Fire in - Parkesburg Borough

Friday, February 08th, 2013 at 1205 hours, the Parkesburg, Atglen, Pomeroy and Sadsburyville Fire Companies along with the Cochranville Fire Company for an engine were alerted for a building fire on the 200 Block on Main Street in Parkesburg Borough. Engine 27-2 responded with a crew of five at 1211. Ambulance 28 arrived on scene at 1212 reporting a three story building with fire on the second floor. The working fire dispatch was alerted including a re-dispatch of the same companies and added Medic 93, Rescue 27 and Ladder 41. Assistant 28 assumed "Main Street Command." Engine 27-2's arrived on scene at 1216. The engine crew assisted with containing the fire and checking for extension. Rescue 27 responded with a crew of four and arrived on scene at 1228. The fire was placed under control at 1234. 27 units returned available at 1323. Units: Engine 27-2 and Rescue 27
