House Fire - Atglen Borough

On New Years day at 1253 the Cochranville Fire Company was dispatched to a working house fire in Atglen Borough for an engine and the rescue. Crews from Cochranville arrived in Engines 27-2 and 27-1 at 1303 and Rescue 27 at 1310 and were initially sent to the man power pull. The fire, which was located in the basement, was almost instantly put under control by Christiana Fire Company (Station 52) who told crews to assist with ventilation of the house. Crews from Cochranville were cleared of the incident at 1323 except Rescue 27 which stayed and assisted with refilling air bottles for other companies and cleared at 1346.
