Three Vehicle Accident - Ridge View Drive & Route 41

On Monday December 10, 2012, the Cochranville Fire Company and Lancaster County Ambulance 5-2 were dispatched at 11:21 to Ridge View Drive and Route 41 for a vehicle accident. Engine 27-1 responded at 11:27 with a crew of four followed by Rescue 27 with five and Utility 27 with two. Engine 27-1 arrived on scene at 11:30 to find a three vehicle accident involving a pole with all occupants out. Engine 27-1 assumed Route 41 Command at that time. Rescue 27 arrived on scene right after Engine 27-1. Crews immediately went to work closing part of the roadway, securing hazards and assisting EMS with patient care. Ambulance 28 was then added to the assignment to assist with patient care at 11:37. All 27 units remained on the incident until the roadway was cleared and then returned available by 12:19. 27 Units: Engine 27-1, Rescue 27, and Utility 27 Mutual Aid: Ambulance 5-2 and Ambulance 28
