House Fire in Penn Township - 200 Block of Baker Road

On November 18th, 2012 the Cochranville Fire Company was alerted at 12:41 to assist the West Grove Fire Companies on a house fire on the 200 Block of Baker Road in Penn Township. Engine 27-2 responded at 12:48 with a crew of six followed by Engine 27-5 and Rescue 27. Assistant 22 arrived on scene to find a two story home with smoke coming from the garage. Engine 27-2 arrived on scene and was advised to send the crew to the front of the house. All other units staged on Baker Road. Engine 27-2's crew was assigned to check the inside of the house for any fire extension or smoke conditions. The incident was placed under control at 13:01.
