Working House Fire - 200 Block of Barnsley Road

Tuesday, September 11th, 2012 at 0008 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company’s Rescue 27, Medic 94 and Lancaster County Engine 5-13-1 were alerted to assist the Union Fire Company of Oxford on a working house fire on the 200 block of Barnsley Road in East Nottingham Township. Chief 21 arrived on scene to find a single story home fully involved. Rescue 27 responded with a crew of seven at 0016 hours followed by Engine 27-2 with a crew of four at 0021. The Rescue crew set up as the Rapid Intervention Team until told to assist with overhaul operations. Both the Engine and Rescue crews assisted on the “C” side of the home. The fire was placed under control at 0058 hours. All 27 units returned available by 0205 hours. Units: Rescue 27 and Engine 27-2
