Phillies Phanatic Comes to Cochranville - Carnival Grounds

The 2012 Cochranville Fire Company Carnival got off to a Phillies Phanatic start. On Wednesday, July 18th the Phanatic made a reappearance after 20+ years at the Carnival. The Phanatic and the visitors had a great time posing for pictures. The Phanatic even took a ride on one of the many rides offered at this year's Carnival. Both Thursday and Friday were wet and had a chill in the air and Friday we had to close at 8 PM because of the rain. Saturday's entertainment "Hung Jury" had the people dancing in the stands and played to 11PM. This Wednesday through Friday ( July 25 - July 28) we will be in operation again starting at 6 PM, so come on out for some great family fun with our rides, food and games. The lineup for this coming week is: - Wednesday July 25, Santa will be at the carnival handing out candy cane seeds to our visitors. - Thursday is Sports Night, so wear your favorite team shirt and show your support. - Friday is Hawaiian Shirt Night , be sure to come and listen to Brian Clayton and the Green River Band. - Saturday night is Western Night and will be the last scheduled night of the Carnival. Our friends from The Summit Hill Band will be here to entertain. Remember all prizes will be drawn at the end of the Carnival. Don't forget to get your Grand Prize tickets early and take part in our gate prize drawings each night. Don't forget to take chances on our other great prizes.
