4 Alarm Row Home Fire - 600 Block of Coates Street

On Wednesday, June 6, 2012, the Cochranville Fire Company was dispatched at 16:47 for an engine to relocate to Coatesville Fire Station 43. The Coatesville Fire Department and several other departments were battling a second alarm house fire that had extended into multiple other units in a row home. Engine 27-2 made the response moments later with a crew of six. Prior to arriving at Station 43 the fire went to the third alarm and Engine 27-2 was called into the scene at 17:16. Engine 27-2 arrived on scene at 17:34 and crews went to manpower staging while Lieutenant 27 was assigned as the accountability officer. Engine 27-2's crew then went into service assisting with fire suppression and overhaul in several of the row homes. At 17:41 the fire went to a fourth alarm. The fire was placed under control at 18:00. Crews remained on scene to assist with cleaning up the fire ground. Engine 27-2 then returned available at 20:21
