House Fire Assist - 100 Block of Indian Springs Road

December 25th, 2011, at 2329 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company was alerted for Engine 27-5 to relocate to the Avondale Fire Company. Engine 27-5 responded with a crew of six. After arriving on scene, at 0004 hours, Engine 27-5 along with Westwood Engine 44-5 and West Chester Tanker 52 were alerted to respond to the fire scene. This was a house fire on the 100 block of Indian Springs Road in Kennett Township. Engine 27-5 responded and arrived on scene at 0046 hours. The engine crew went to the scene to assist with manpower, while the engine stayed in the tanker shuttle line. The fire was placed under control at 0147 hours. Engine 27-5 returned available at 0328.
