Auto Accident with Unknown Injuries - 3300 Block of Limestone Road

Sunday, August 21st, 2011, at 1444 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company and the Parkesburg Fire Company Ambulance were alerted for an auto accident with unknown injuries on the 3300 Block of Limestone Road in Highland Township. Chester County Fire Board received additional information that someone was trapped inside the vehicle and that there were wires wrapped around the vehicle. With that information the county re-alerted the same units along with Southern Chester County Medic 94. Chief 27 arrived on scene at 1448 hours and assumed “Limestone Command.” Before removing the patient from the vehicle, PECO had to arrive. Once they arrived and shut off all power, extrication was completed. One patient was transported to Jennersville Regional Hospital. Fire Police remained on scene until 1800 hours. However, the other units cleared the scene to respond to other calls in the area. Units: Engine 27-1 and QRS 27 Mutual Aid: Ambulance 28, Medic 94-2, and Traffic 37
