Auto Accident with Injuries - Route 41 and Highland Road

Monday, July 18th, 2011 at 1809 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company and Lancaster County Ambulance 5-2 were alerted for an auto accident with unknown injuries at Route 41 and Highland Road in West Fallowfield Township. Deputy 27 responded at 1810 and Engine 27-1 responded with a crew of five at 1812. Rescue 27 also responded with a crew of four. Deputy 27 arrived on scene to find a two vehicle accident partially blocking the roadway. The engine and rescue’s crews handled traffic control and hazards and also assisted with patient care. Ambulance 5-2-1 transported one patient to Lancaster General Hospital. Ambulance 29-3 was also called to the scene and transported one patient to Jennersville Regional Hospital.
