Back in Atlgen - 100 Block of Liberty Street

Sunday, March 20, 2011, at 1507 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company was alerted for an engine to relocate to the Parkesburg Fire Company, while they were back at the 100 block of Liberty Street in Atglen Borough to assist on the building fire. Engine 27-2 responded with a crew of five at 1517 hours and arrived on scene at 1524 hours. Engine 27-2 was released at 1658 hours. About an hour later, at 1748 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company’s fire police were alerted along with the rest of the first alarm fire police task force to close down the roadways near the fire scene. Moments later, the Cochranville Fire Company was also alerted for Rescue 27 to respond to the fire scene. Rescue 27 responded with a crew of five and Engine 27-2 responded with a crew of four. Rescue 27 was assigned to fill air bottles, while all crew members assisted with manpower operations. Units: Engine 27-2, Rescue 27 and Fire Police 27
