House Fire in London Grove - 100 Block of Garden Station Road

Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 1801 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company’s Rescue 27 was alerted along with Engine 21-1 and Medic 94 to assist the West Grove Fire Company on a working house fire on the 100 block of Garden Station Road in London Grove Township. Rescue 27 responded with a crew of seven at 1808 and arrived on scene at 1821. At 1838 hours, Garden Station Command requested that the first alarm tanker task force be called to the scene. At that time, the Cochranville Fire Company’s Engine 27-5 along with five other tankers were called to the scene. Engine 27-5 responded two minutes later with a crew of six. Engine 27-2 also responded to the fire scene. Crews assisted with standing by for Rapid Intervention and overhaul operations. Engine 27-2, 27-5 and Rescue 27 all returned available by 2200.
