Crews Tour New Wilderness Park - Wolf's Hollow County Park

On Saturday, August 14, 2010 the Atglen and Cochranville Fire Companies met at the new Wolf's Hollow County Park to tour the grounds and get a feel for the terrain. While the park is in Atglen Fire Companies first due, Cochranville is the first due rescue for incidents in the park. Half of the crew was taken around by the park staff to areas that they felt would be tricky for responders if there was an incident. The other half of the crew took maps of the park and walked around on several different trails. The park has been closed for the past couple years and is due to open on August 16, 2010.
