Motor Vehicle Collision in Highland Township - 3300 Block of Limestone Road

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 at 0928 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company, and an ambulance from the Parkesburg Fire Company and Christiana Community Ambulance were alerted for a motor vehicle collision with injuries on the 3300 block of Limestone Road in Highland Township. Rescue 27 responded at 0936 hours with a crew of seven and arrived on scene three minutes later to find a two vehicle collision. At 0946 hours Rescue 27 assumed “Limestone Command.” EMS personnel assisted the ambulance crew with patient care, while the other crew members controlled any possible hazards and traffic control. Ambulances from the Pomeroy and Westwood Fire Companies were also called to the scene due to the high number of patients. Ambulance 5-2-1 transported two patients to Jennersville Regional Hospital. Ambulance 44-1 transported two patients to Brandywine Hospital and Ambulance 29-2 transported one patient to Brandywine Hospital. All units returned available by 1028 hours.
