Three Car Collision in Upper Oxford - Limestone Road and Newark Road

On May 30th, 2010, at 1124 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company and an Ambulance from the Union Fire Company #1 of Oxford were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision reported serious in Upper Oxford Township. Assistant 27 responded at 1124 followed by Engine 27-1 at 1127 hours with a crew of four. Medic 94 was added to the assignment after reports of a head injury. Assistant 27 arrived on scene at 1127 and reported three vehicles involved with one of the vehicles overturned in the intersection. He then assumed "Route 10 Command" at 1129. Rescue 27 went en route at 1130. Upon Engine 27-1's arrival at 1132, crew members assisted with patient care and containing hazardous materials that were leaking from the vehicles. Engine 27-1 and Rescue 27 stayed on scene until the vehicles were cleared out of the roadway. All 27 units returned available at 1218.
