Today, members staffed E-27-2 and R-27 to participate in two different activities being held at the Octorara Area School District Campus.
The Engine and Rescue first traveled to the Intermediate School where the Octorara Angels Rainbow 5k Run/Walk inspired by Carly Imbierowicz was being held.
Once the 5k was complete, the Engine and Rescue traveled to the High School to participate in the 3rd Annual OABEST (Octorara Agriculture, Business, Environmental Science, and Technology) Expo.
The Engine handled the LZ assignment for JeffStat which is stationed at the Brandywine Hospital.
The Rescue participated in a mock accident extrication along with Keystone Valley Rescue 8 and Christiana Engine 52-1.
Later in the day, members enjoyed some time to relax at our annual awards picnic.
Thanks to Honey Brook Fire Company Engine 33-5 and Quarryville Fire Company Engine 57-2 for covering our first due while our members enjoyed an afternoon of fun and relaxation!
