Containment Assist - Christiana, Lancaster County

On November 17th at 10:51, the Cochranville Fire Company was dispatched for Containment 27 to assist Lancaster County Station 5-2 on a hazardous materials incident.
Containment 27 responded at 11:02 and was advised to respond to Station 5-2 to wait for further instructions.
Containment 27 was met by Chief 5-2 and advised that there was an unknown oil based substance floating down one of the local creeks from a storm drain.
Chief 5-2 advised crews that he wanted booms set up at two spots along the creek.
Chief 27 responded at 11:15 and rendezvoused with Containment 27 and Chief 5-2 at 11:25.
Containment 27’s crew then set the booms up at the two locations given by Chief 5-2.
Containment 27 and Chief 27 returned available at 12:22.
