Auto Accident with Injuries - 3200 Block of Limestone Road

On January 10th at 17:40 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company along with Ambulance 28 and Medic 94 were dispatched for an accident reported serious in front of 3280 Limestone Road.

 

Chief 27 (Lapp) got on the scene at 17:41 to find four vehicles involved. He requested additional ambulances: Ambulance 29 (Pomeroy) and Ambulance 22-2 (West Grove) and fire police 27-30 (Burkhart) with QRS 27 and Traffic 28 (Parkesburg) to shut the road down.

 

Ambulance 28 arrived on the scene at 17:48 hours and started patient care.

 

 

Engine 27-1 arrived on the scene at 17:50 hours and was told by Chief Lapp to start working on the mustang and help Ambulance 28 get the patient out.

 

Rescue 27 arrived on scene at 17:51 hours and was instructed to set up scene lights and help with patient care on the other vehicles. Ambulance 28 with Medic 94-1 took one patient to Paoli Hospital, Ambulance 29 took another patient to Paoli Hospital and Ambulance 22-2 transported one patient to Brandywine Hospital, the forth patient was a sign off and didn't need to be treated.

 

The crews also checked and took care of any hazards on the vehicles and cleaned the roadway up.

 

All units were available at 18:44 hours.
