Grain Bin Fire Assist - 30 Block of Maple Shade Road

On the morning of September 27th, Rescue 27, along with the Oxford Fire Company were alerted at 03:00 to assist Lancaster County Station 5-1, Bart Fire Company, on a Grain Bin Fire. Rescue 27 went en route at 03:05 with a crew of seven. Station 27 was also dispatched at 03:08 for an Engine to assist on the fire. Engine 27-1 went en route at 03:17 with a crew of four. Rescue 27 arrived on scene at 03:16 and was instructed to set up to fill air cylinders and act as the Rapid Intervention Team. Engine 27-1 arrived on scene at 03:27 and was advised to stage out on the road. All 27 units returned available by 04:19 Units: Rescue 27 and Engine 27-1
