Motor Vehicle Collision in Highland Township - Gum Tree Road and Humpton Road

Saturday, August 14th, the Cochranville Fire Company, and an Ambulance from the Parkesburg and Westwood Fire Companies were dispatched at 12:42 to Gum Tree Road and Humpton Road for an auto accident. Rescue 27 arrived on the scene as it was being dispatched. Engine 27-2 followed at 12:43 and arrived on scene at 12:44. Upon arrival crews found two vehicles blocking the roadway. Rescue 27 assumed "Gum Tree Comand." Crews began with patient care and taking care of any hazards on the roadway. QRS 27 went en route at 12:50 and arrived on scene at 12:54, where they handled traffic control. Ambulance 44 transported one patient. Rescue 27 returned available at 13:22 and transfered comand to Engine 27-2. All 27 units returned available by 13:44
