Sky Flight Care Comes to Cochranville for Training - The Cochranville Fire Company Carnival Grounds

Monday, June 7th, 2010 @ 1930 hours, Sky Flight Care landed on the Cochranville Fire Company's carnival grounds. They came to our station so that we could review operations and procedures for when a helicopter is called to the scene of an emergency. Crew members were able to practice setting up a landing zone for the helicopter to land behind the firehouse. Sky Flight Care crew members landed and gave a brief summary of what is expected to happen if they are called to the scene of an emergency. Then the opportunity to ask questions about the helicopter, and the different equipment found on it. Fire company personal then practiced loading a patient into the helicopter. The officers and members of the Cochranville Fire Company would like to thank Sky Flight Care for taking the time to come to our station and train with us. Also to Limestone Pizza & Grille Restaurant for supplying dinner.
