Motor Vehicle Collision in Highland Township - Route 10 and Friendship Church Road

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010, at 1637 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company, an Ambulance from the Parkesburg Fire Company and Christiana Community Ambulance, and Medic 93 were alerted for a motor vehicle collision with injuries on Route 10 and Friendship Church Road in Highland Township. Engine 27-1 responded at 1644 hours with a crew of four followed by QRS 27 a minute later. Engine 27-1 arrived on scene and started to stabilize one of the vehicles and started patient care. After the vehicle was stabilized, the driver’s side door had to be opened with our hydraulic spreaders. The patient was then removed from the vehicle and transported to Jennersville Regional Hospital by Christiana Community Ambulance 5-2-1 at 1701. All 27 units returned available at 1715 hours.
