Kids Camp 2015

The 2015 Kid’s Fire Experience theme of “Fire Boot Camp: Do You Have What It Takes” will be held Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th at the Christiana Fire Company.

 

Children will experience various rescue and fire demonstrations. Local fire companies will provide basic fire safety as well as instructional training.

 

NEW THIS YEAR : Campers ages 10 – 14 will receive “advanced” training with senior

firefighters and get to use those skills in simulated, training incidents in a safe, controlled environment alongside certified fire fighters.

 

Friday, August 28th will be a “Community Night” for the campers and the public to attend. Families are welcomed to enjoy a FREE night of fire and water activities as well as various carnival games. Saturday, August 29th all registered campers will be able to observe some live demonstrations performed by local firefighters and will get to visit various stations getting hands on experience.

 

VARIOUS FIRE COMPANIES WILL BE ATTENDING THIS YEAR’S CAMP.

 

Camp is FREE to registered campers ages 5 to 14 Donations are welcomed and appreciated.

Monday, July 13th 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Thursday, July 16th 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

 

 

ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY JULY 16, 2015

 

Adult volunteers are needed for Saturday. Parents are encouraged to attend the closing ceremony at the end of day Saturday.

Each child will be recognized for their participation in the camp.
